The popularity and incredibly positive feedback of our Surf & Yoga concept has motivated us to explore more places. Absolute Entspannung
I've been to Surf Spirit's Jungle Villa for a second time with my girlfriend and we would come back anytime. The location, the food, the employees... absolutely world-class - For beginners, there are ideal conditions to take their first steps on the board. Morning surf guiding is ideal for intermediates. The coaches have a plan to respond to each student. I've already been to many surf camps but this is by far the best I've been to so far.
Der perfekte Ort für ein Retreat
Der Vibe war super, da alle zur gleichen Zeit ankamen und wir feste Gruppen hatten! Das war so viel schöner als in anderen Surfcamps. Ein großes Dankeschön auch an das gesamte Team! Die Dschungelvilla war fantastisch, sie war der perfekte Ort für einen Retreat. Ich kann mich nicht auf ein einziges Highlight beschränken :) Lieder am Lagerfeuer, die Party gestern Abend, das Eisbad und die Sauna

Ich hatte eine wirklich schöne Woche hier in der Jungle Villa. Die Surflehrer waren alle sehr gut! Ich habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt und es hat viel Spaß mit ihnen gemacht! Sie haben uns sehr gut unterrichtet. Das Küchenpersonal in der Villa hat unfassbar lecker gekocht und immer darauf geachtet, dass alles in Ordnung war. Das gesamte Personal wirkte wie eine Familie. Und auch wir hatten eine so nette Gruppe, dass wirklich Freundschaften in dieser einen Woche gefunden haben.
Absolut fantastisches Erlebnis
Es war ein absolut fantastisches Erlebnis! Jeder Einzelne im Team hat sich voll und ganz dafür eingesetzt, dass wir als Gäste eine wundervolle Zeit hatten. Das Essen war sehr lecker, und auf Vegetarier wurde besonders Rücksicht genommen. Die Yoga-Kurse waren wunderbar gestaltet und auch die Surf-Trainer waren fantastisch – sie gingen auf jeden Einzelnen ein und arbeiteten gemeinsam mit uns an unseren Fortschritten. Das gesamte Team war absolut wunderbar, und es war immer jemand vor Ort, falls man etwas brauchte. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen!!

Action & relax
A wonderful place to relax. The perfect mix of action and relaxation. The surf lessons helped me a lot and the direct location on the beach makes it easy to get out on the water at any time. The accommodation and food are excellent and the team behind it makes the stay completely uncomplicated and familiar.

5 Sterne sind nicht genug!
Eine magische Auszeit im Paradies – 5 Sterne sind nicht genug! Ich durfte eine Woche in der wunderschönen Jungle Villa verbringen, und es war einfach unbeschreiblich! Von der ersten Sekunde an fühlte ich mich wie im Paradies. Der Pool war der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen zwischen den Yoga- und Surf-Sessions, das Essen himmlisch und jeder einzelne Moment voller positiver Energie. Ich habe nicht nur meine Liebe zum Surfen und Yoga vertieft, sondern auch wundervolle Menschen kennengelernt. Egal ob Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittener, hier fühlt sich glaube ich jeder perfekt aufgehoben. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen!

We've been to Surf Spirit for the second time now and it has exceeded our expectations every time! 😍 The food is simply amazing, always fresh and super lovingly prepared. The Jungle Villa is a paradise you could really relax. The people are all super friendly and helpful. The surf lessons were awesome and I immediately feel safer and have the feeling that I can surf. We would love to come back!

Perfect start into the new year.
Thank you so much for this week, it was a perfect start to the new year. The surf lessons, yoga, and food were great, and I felt really comfortable here. I particularly appreciated how patiently the coaches helped us become more and more independent on the board and how they answered each of our questions (and I had many). I wish I could stay longer — I'm already jealous of the next groups that are coming. Thanks again to the entire team, from management to coaches to local staff.

Ich war zum zweiten Mal in der Beach Lodge, weil es mir beim ersten Mal so gut gefallen hat! Und wieder habe ich jede Sekunde meines Aufenthalts genossen. Das gesamte Team war so fürsorglich – das Motto „Komm als Gast, geh als Freund“ habe ich genau so erlebt! Die Surf- und Yogakurse haben Spaß gemacht und waren eine perfekte Balance zwischen Bewegung und Entspannung. Danke euch!

You can immediately tell the passion
The team is incredibly friendly. You can tell right away that a lot of passion is put into the work here and that it is important that everyone feels at home. The kitchen team conjures up excellent food. I also felt very picked up for my surfing level. The yoga was challenging in a good way and it made me feel really strong.

The perfect mix
I loved the combination of yoga and surfing — it was the perfect mix! The people are friendly and very helpful, both locals and international employees. It was particularly nice how we grew together so quickly as a group: surfing and laughing together over dinner. The emotions that arose after evening yoga connected us in a profound way.
Incredible experience
Everything was perfect! There isn't a single thing I didn't like. The atmosphere in the group was simply outstanding and you could really feel the spirit of Surf Spirit. There were so many highlights, but the surf lessons were incredibly fun and simply great! They're all really, really great surf coaches, but most of all, they're warm, funny and you just love being around them. The yoga classes were also unbelievable. I've never felt such a strong connection to myself and also to the people I met just a week ago. The food and the entire team were simply fantastic, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. I loved waking up in the morning and enjoying the tastiest breakfast I've ever had.
You have to experience it yourself
Ein Traum wie auf einer Postkarte! Ich hatte während meines gesamten Aufenthalts ein breites Lächeln im Gesicht! Diese zwei Wochen in Sri Lanka waren zwei der schönsten und unglaublichsten Wochen, die ich je erlebt habe. Dieser Ort, das Surfen, das Yoga, die Sonnenauf- und -untergänge – aber das Wichtigste und Beeindruckendste: das Team! Das hat meinen Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht – die herzerwärmende Energie jedes Einzelnen.

Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen
Surf Spirit war das erste Retreat, an dem ich je teilgenommen habe und hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Besonders gut hat mir die persönliche Atmosphäre und das Gemeinschaftsgefühl gefallen. Das Retreat liegt wunderschön in der Natur und lädt zum Abschalten ein. Ein weiteres Highlight ist das Essen, welches täglich frisch und aufwändig zubereitet wird. Es wird auf alle Bedürfnisse geachtet und für einen bestmöglichen Aufenthalt gesorgt. Vielen lieben Dank für die unglaublich tolle Erfahrung!
Unvergessliche Zeit
Meine Zeit im Habitat Algarve war in jeder Hinsicht bereichernd und geprägt von Gelassenheit und unvergesslichen Momenten – ein liebevoll gestalteter Ort mit einem wunderschönen Garten und einladenden Gemeinschaftsbereichen, einem unglaublich freundlichen Team, tollen Workshops, Yoga-Stunden und Surfkursen. Es ist perfekt für einen aktiven Urlaub und bietet dennoch viel Raum zum Entspannen. Ich würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen und bin sehr dankbar für diese Erfahrung!

Wonderful Week
It was an absolutely wonderful week in Portugal. The food was incredible, the atmosphere, the accommodation and everything around it were simply amazing and every single member of the staff team was friendly, attentive and caring. A week I will never forget. Thank you all for letting me experience this with you.
Die perfekte Kombination aus Surfen, Yoga und Gemeinschaft
eine fantastische Zeit hatte. Ich habe mich dort rundum wohlgefühlt und es wirklich genossen, von Natur umgeben zu sein. Es war die perfekte Kombination aus einer aktiven Surfwoche, Meditationen, Yoga und Zeit, um wirklich zur Ruhe zu kommen und abzuschalten. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich, fürsorglich und herzlich. Auch die Surflehrer haben fantastische Arbeit geleistet – sie haben eine so tolle Atmosphäre geschaffen und gleichzeitig jedem geholfen, sich zu verbessern und die Erfahrung zu genießen. Neben all diesen wunderbaren Momenten bin ich besonders dankbar für die Freundschaften, die ich während dieser Reise geschlossen habe.

Dream Retreat
The trip was perfect. Especially the freshly prepared food every day was delicious! The whole place is designed with so much love. The staff was always present and extremely attentive and friendly at all times. Every Yoga session was unique and moving. The surf lessons are also highly recommended, the instructors are really cool and you could learn a lot in just a few days! I will be back :)

Best time of my life!
The team is super friendly and full of joie de vivre. The villa is a great place to relax. The food was healthy. I had taken part in a surf camp before, but that's no comparison to Surf Spirit. The coaches came into the water with us after the theory session and were very helpful. The yoga was simply magical. 🧘 ♀️ The retreat gave me so much joy, energy and distance from everyday life. I really felt what it was like to enjoy life and live in the moment. I was just happy and it was the best time of my life. 🌊
A place with passion
Please continue as before — everything about this place radiates warmth, passion and authenticity. Throughout my stay, I felt supported, inspired and completely at home. I'm already looking forward to coming back!
My first solo trip
This week was better than I could have ever imagined. It was my first trip all alone and I met great people, learned new things about myself and just had a really good time. The team is very nice, the food is special and the yoga and surfing lessons have complemented each other perfectly. I would definitely come back again!
Ich habe jede Sekunde genossen
Ich habe noch nie eine so wohltuende Erfahrung gemacht. Bei diesem Retreat konnte ich mich wirklich entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Ich habe mich so gut umsorgt gefühlt und jede Sekunde davon genossen. Das Haus ist dank dieses unglaublichen Teams voller Liebe und Lachen, sodass man wirklich das Gefühl hat, bei der Familie zu Besuch zu sein. Bei jeder Surf- und Yogastunde hat der Kursleiter deutlich gemacht, dass jeder in seinem eigenen Tempo vorgehen soll, sodass niemand unter Druck stand und sich ganz auf den Spaß konzentrieren konnte. Ich werde nächstes Jahr wiederkommen und freue mich schon jetzt darauf!
A big family
This has been one of my best weeks ever in my entire life! Sri Lanka is such a warm, safe, colorful and welcoming country and surf spirit retreat is simply its crown jewel. It's a gorgeous villa so close to the shore but still peacefully in land. The teaching and management team is amazing: young, cool, friendly, open, highly skilled. I had ko expectations about surf and learned so much in one week that I could tame medium to large and waves of the Indian Ocean (in a beginner beach). The food is mostly plentiful, tasty and healthy with loads of local fruit. I was terribly sad to leave this place, I still dream about it with closed and open eyes.
Eine unglaubliche Erfahrung
Ich danke euch dafür, dass ihr diese Woche zu einer unglaublichen und erfüllenden Erfahrung gemacht habt. Ihr habt einen Ort geschaffen, an dem sich jeder willkommen und sicher fühlt, so zu sein, wie er ist. Die Woche bei Surf Spirit war erholsam und unbeschwert. Wir kehren mit unvergesslichen Erinnerungen und einem erfüllten Herzen nach Hause zurück.
I want to do it again!
I spent a week in Sri Lanka at Jungle Villa and it was just perfect!!! I would 100% recommend it if you enjoy surfing (no matter what level), do yoga and want to meet new people. The location is great, quiet and perfect for relaxing. The food was fantastic all week long, there was something different for lunch and dinner every day, most of it was even vegan.
