Our trip started in the tropical jungle on Sri Lanka's south coast. This is where we opened our first surf & yoga retreat near the beach. The popularity and incredibly positive feedback of our Surf & Yoga concept has motivated us to explore more places. Beginner-friendly Surf coaching
The best surf camp I've been to so far. The surf lessons are well structured - every day before surfing, there is a small theory section in which you learn useful things that you can implement directly in the water. The waves in Sri Lanka are very beginner-friendly and so you make progress again and again. In addition, the team is simply great. Everyone is so adorable and does their best. See you soon!
Intermediate Surfer
I've been to Surf Spirit's Jungle Villa for a second time with my girlfriend and we would come back anytime. The location, the food, the employees... absolutely world-class - For beginners, there are ideal conditions to take their first steps on the board. Morning surf guiding is ideal for intermediates. The coaches have a plan to respond to each student. I've already been to many surf camps but this is by far the best I've been to so far.
Took my surfing skills to the next level
Thanks for an amazing week filled with lots of fun. Thanks to the surf coaching I was able to take my surfing to the next level which I am super happy about! I really enjoyed this beautiful place.

Beginners & Intermediate Surf
The surf lessons were great, the conditions in the bay were consistently good, suitable for beginners and intermediates, and there were additional surf guiding sessions for advanced surfers. The video analysis is very helpful in improving your technique and the professional surf photography is a great souvenir.

We've been to Surf Spirit for the second time now and it has exceeded our expectations every time! 😍 The food is simply amazing, always fresh and super lovingly prepared. The Jungle Villa is a paradise you could really relax. The people are all super friendly and helpful. The surf lessons were awesome and I immediately feel safer and have the feeling that I can surf. We would love to come back!

Eine magische Auszeit im Paradies – 5 Sterne sind nicht genug! Ich durfte eine Woche in der wunderschönen Jungle Villa verbringen, und es war einfach unbeschreiblich! Von der ersten Sekunde an fühlte ich mich wie im Paradies. Der Pool war der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen zwischen den Yoga- und Surf-Sessions, das Essen himmlisch und jeder einzelne Moment voller positiver Energie. Ich habe nicht nur meine Liebe zum Surfen und Yoga vertieft, sondern auch wundervolle Menschen kennengelernt. Egal ob Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittener, hier fühlt sich glaube ich jeder perfekt aufgehoben. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen!

A place that feels like home
Never felt so welcome in a place and it really felt like home. Everyone of the staff was so lovely and paid so much attention to our wishes. I had two weeks of pure joy and fun. I would like to come back anytime and will miss this place for sure. I learned so much not just about myself but also about surfing and yoga. Thanks to everyone who made those weeks so special.

Action & relax
A wonderful place to relax. The perfect mix of action and relaxation. The surf lessons helped me a lot and the direct location on the beach makes it easy to get out on the water at any time. The accommodation and food are excellent and the team behind it makes the stay completely uncomplicated and familiar.

Perfect start into the new year.
Thank you so much for this week, it was a perfect start to the new year. The surf lessons, yoga, and food were great, and I felt really comfortable here. I particularly appreciated how patiently the coaches helped us become more and more independent on the board and how they answered each of our questions (and I had many). I wish I could stay longer — I'm already jealous of the next groups that are coming. Thanks again to the entire team, from management to coaches to local staff.
Unique vibe and charm
I had the chance to stay at both the Jungle Villa and the Beach Lodge – each place has its own unique vibe and charm. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite, and I'm so glad I experienced both. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and completely at ease.

You can immediately tell the passion
The team is incredibly friendly. You can tell right away that a lot of passion is put into the work here and that it is important that everyone feels at home. The kitchen team conjures up excellent food. I also felt very picked up for my surfing level. The yoga was challenging in a good way and it made me feel really strong.

The perfect mix
I loved the combination of yoga and surfing — it was the perfect mix! The people are friendly and very helpful, both locals and international employees. It was particularly nice how we grew together so quickly as a group: surfing and laughing together over dinner. The emotions that arose after evening yoga connected us in a profound way.
Incredible experience
Everything was perfect! There isn't a single thing I didn't like. The atmosphere in the group was simply outstanding and you could really feel the spirit of Surf Spirit. There were so many highlights, but the surf lessons were incredibly fun and simply great! They're all really, really great surf coaches, but most of all, they're warm, funny and you just love being around them. The yoga classes were also unbelievable. I've never felt such a strong connection to myself and also to the people I met just a week ago. The food and the entire team were simply fantastic, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. I loved waking up in the morning and enjoying the tastiest breakfast I've ever had.
You have to experience it yourself
Ein Traum wie auf einer Postkarte! Ich hatte während meines gesamten Aufenthalts ein breites Lächeln im Gesicht! Diese zwei Wochen in Sri Lanka waren zwei der schönsten und unglaublichsten Wochen, die ich je erlebt habe. Dieser Ort, das Surfen, das Yoga, die Sonnenauf- und -untergänge – aber das Wichtigste und Beeindruckendste: das Team! Das hat meinen Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht – die herzerwärmende Energie jedes Einzelnen.

Eco Farmlife
It was a wonderful experience! I can recommend going there as a solo traveler. The staff is soo kind & always here for you. The place is just paradise. (d) Waking up with bird noises and walking through orange trees. & oh and the food was soo fresh & delicious.
Unvergessliche Zeit
Ich kam etwas schüchtern mit meiner Schwester ins Habitat, doch schnell lernten wir wundervolle Menschen kennen und hatten eine tolle gemeinsame Zeit. Surfen machte riesigen Spaß – die Coaches waren cool und super unterstützend. Yoga war perfekt, um den Tag zu beginnen und abends zur Ruhe zu kommen. Das Habitat ist wunderschön und ein echtes Abenteuer wert. Besonders das Essen war fantastisch – so gut habe ich lange nicht mehr gegessen. Insgesamt war es eine unvergessliche Woche voller Spaß, Action, Entspannung, guter Gespräche und toller Menschen.

Energising Experience
I had one of the best weeks of my life and I have rarely had such an energising experience :) I have nothing to improve. Thanks for everything, I'm so emotionally charged and I'm sure I'll take a lot of what I've learnt here with me in my "normal" life too!
Magical Experience
The Habitat Algarve was more than I expected. I immediately felt at home, was surrounded by great people and the vibe & atmosphere was heartwarming. The accommodation is really something special, in the middle of nature and the program invites you to deep-dive and switch off. It was a dream, just like the crew.

Reconnect
The atmosphere is so beautiful, every member of the sta brings all their heart into their work and every contact. The reconnect & create package was amazing, lots of new experiences, charismatic women who share their wisdom in a unique way. Loved especially the herbal walk as it allowed me to connect with nature in an intuitive way that I would not have thought was possible for me. I'm thankful for this safe space you created, where every upcoming emotion was welcome. Just being given room to exist with all that came up to the surface, gave me so much energy and healing.

Best time of my life!
The team is super friendly and full of joie de vivre. The villa is a great place to relax. The food was healthy. I had taken part in a surf camp before, but that's no comparison to Surf Spirit. The coaches came into the water with us after the theory session and were very helpful. The yoga was simply magical. 🧘 ♀️ The retreat gave me so much joy, energy and distance from everyday life. I really felt what it was like to enjoy life and live in the moment. I was just happy and it was the best time of my life. 🌊
A place with passion
Please continue as before — everything about this place radiates warmth, passion and authenticity. Throughout my stay, I felt supported, inspired and completely at home. I'm already looking forward to coming back!
My first solo trip
This week was better than I could have ever imagined. It was my first trip all alone and I met great people, learned new things about myself and just had a really good time. The team is very nice, the food is special and the yoga and surfing lessons have complemented each other perfectly. I would definitely come back again!
Family Atmosphere
The warmth, the family-like atmosphere, and the positive energy of this place will stay with me forever. Highly recommended to anyone looking for more than just a getaway.
A big family
This has been one of my best weeks ever in my entire life! Sri Lanka is such a warm, safe, colorful and welcoming country and surf spirit retreat is simply its crown jewel. It's a gorgeous villa so close to the shore but still peacefully in land. The teaching and management team is amazing: young, cool, friendly, open, highly skilled. I had ko expectations about surf and learned so much in one week that I could tame medium to large and waves of the Indian Ocean (in a beginner beach). The food is mostly plentiful, tasty and healthy with loads of local fruit. I was terribly sad to leave this place, I still dream about it with closed and open eyes.
Right time and right place
Usually I need much time to open myself up. Especially in groups. Thanks for making it easy from the first second. I felt connected right away as if it’s the right place at the right time. I haven’t felt this kind of belonging in a long time
I want to do it again!
I spent a week in Sri Lanka at Jungle Villa and it was just perfect!!! I would 100% recommend it if you enjoy surfing (no matter what level), do yoga and want to meet new people. The location is great, quiet and perfect for relaxing. The food was fantastic all week long, there was something different for lunch and dinner every day, most of it was even vegan.
